This is a video displaying great insight from Shane Claiborne on how bad theology, and why not, a bad picture of God literally kills thousands if not millions of people. Over the centuries, and I’ll admit mostly because of the bible, people have justified their horrific behaviors. Many groups, including God-fearing groups like Jews and Christians, have thought that their service to God was to wipe out people who disagreed with them or didn’t fit their mold.
This picture, in the opinion of REVIVE and many, many other Christians like Claiborne, couldn’t be further from the truth that Jesus preached 2,000 years ago.
