True journalism and freedom of speech and of the press are being attacked in this country and it will get worse. We must fight against it.
Much in the same way, the fake news about God, His character and government is being disseminated today from pulpits, articles, videos and many times from people with no intention of propagating fake news.

(English) …There is only one person that has really revolutionized the world in convincing thousands if not millions of people that hate and violence are not the answer to win against your enemies. And that is Jesus, the Christ. His followers really took the idea of loving enemies to heart and refused to participate in combative roles in military, refused to carry out violence or retaliate in a violent manner as no other group in history had done so. Of course they died in the process but they had hope that one day not only would they be vindicated, or that they would live again but also that the world would be changed because of their testimony…

The bad news is that it will probably get worse and worse before it gets better, but in order for it to be better, God is asking us to act and behave in a way that seems illogical, irrational and counter productive, “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Rom. 12:21 and “Love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back…Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.” Luke 6:35-36
